Morris is the founder and managing partner with our firm. Morris began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in Forsyth County, often prosecuting cases on behalf of special needs victims. After his time as a Prosecutor, Morris has dedicated his practice to civil litigation on behalf of seniors and persons with disabilities. Morris has previously lectured certified legal education courses in the area of Medicaid appeals, guardianship issues, and Administrative Law litigation.
Morris F. McAdoo is a native of Burlington, North Carolina. He received his Bachelors of Business Administration from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina, and worked for two years in Benefits Administration for a Major Big Four Accounting firm before he obtained his law degree from the Delaware School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware. In his community, Morris currently serves on the Board of Directors for Mecklenburg County's John S. Leary Bar Association of Black Attorneys.
He previously served on the Privatization and Competition Advisory Board for the City of Charlotte and the North Carolina Association of Black Lawyers. In addition to participating in various civic organizations, Morris is a founding Board Member of the PSF Foundation, which facilitates the Sugar Creek 21st Century Community Learning Center in North Charlotte. Morris, his wife, and their son reside in North Charlotte.
